Newslaundry operates on a subscription-based model and does not carry advertisements, avoiding the potential biases associated with ad revenue. Newslaundry is celebrated for its commitment to independent journalism, providing ground reports, in-depth analysis, and critical commentary on current affairs​.

Subscription counts increased consistently in five months, showing a positive reception of the bundle offer. Significant spikes in subscription counts were observed in March and May, indicating successful marketing campaigns and elections in May. This month saw the highest number of subscribers, with an increase of 139.13% compared to April because of elections.
